According to the assessment of the impacts of drought on agricultural production areas, 1,175 municipalities had at least 40% of their use areas impacted in the month of June. Minas Gerais and São Paulo were the states that had the highest number of municipalities with agricultural production areas affected above 40%. While Rio Grande do Norte stood out as the state that had the largest number of municipalities with an impact of drought over 80% in the agricultural production area. (MAPA)
