Brazilian beef exports to China grew 38.3% in September, totaling 187,340 tonnes. Total sales in the sector reached 373,900 tonnes and US$ 1.92 billion, an increase of 17% in volume and 49% in revenue compared to September 2024. Brazilian peanut exports reached a record high, with 180,000 tonnes between January and August 2025, an increase of 26% over the same period last year and revenues of US$ 222 million. The entire harvest are from São Paulo State, and the main destinations are Russia, China, Algeria, and the Netherlands. Peanut oil exports grew 170%, totaling 98,000 tonnes, of which 87% went to China. 92 municipalities in the State of Rio Grande do Sul were excluded from the US$ 2.24 billion credit line for rural debt renegotiation established by Provisional Measure No. 1314/2025, totaling US$ 504 million in debts. Federation of Agriculture of Rio Grande do Sul submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Agriculture to modify the criteria and include agricultural municipalities, suggesting that the calculation be based on the Gross Production Value and on summer and rainfed crops, requiring at least three climate emergency decrees between 2020 and 2024.
