Fávaro said that MAPA will work in partnership with Anvisa and Ibama. “Let’s not weaken the legislation, or harm the approval process of new molecules, but rather modernize it… I am sure that when a molecule arrives at the Ministry of Agriculture that has not been approved by Anvisa, you will not find a technician at MAPA who will have the courage to approve it. Likewise for the environmental issue. If Ibama does not approve a new molecule because it will harm the environment, we will certainly not find anyone in the Ministry of Agriculture who will be favorable to this approval…”, said the minister.
