After January 2023, imports of agri-inputs in the State of Mato Grosso will adopt a tax fee of 2%. CNA is in favor of the new legal framework for pesticides, Bill 1459/2022. Embrapa Soja (Embrapa Soybean) announced that 25% of the nitrogen fertilizer used for corn can be replaced by inoculants based on Azospirillum brasilense. “This validation, once again, is the result of a close cooperation between public research and private companies. Fertilizantes Heringer, that has more than 50% of its shares controlled by EuroChem, reported that the parent company will proceed with the public offer for the acquisition of shares proposed in 2022. The multinational suggests paying US$ 3.64 per share to acquire the remaining Heringer shares. According to Eduardo Castro Borges, partner at manager Lav Capital, a company that is also a shareholder in Heringer, the proposed value is now more pleasing to minority shareholders.
