The collapse of Brazilian port infrastructure caused a logistical loss of US$ 12.6 million for coffee exporters in 2025, resulting in a US$ 2.64 billion loss in foreign exchange revenue due to the failure to ship over 600 thousand bags/month. The survey indicates that 55% of vessels experienced delays or schedule changes, highlighting critical bottlenecks such as a lack of berths, overcrowded yards and low container availability, especially at the Port of Santos, where delay rates reached 65%. This scenario compromises agribusiness competitiveness and producer income. It is crucial to prevent general shipment records from masking the crisis within this segment.
