  • Paraná Rural Development Institute brings together silk producers in the city of Londrina to discuss pesticide drift issues, which affects mulberry trees used as food for silkworms. It is intended to increase the training of technicians and farmers to mitigate the driftaside from inspection of agricultural sprayers, and also to implement and app in order to geo-reference all properties. (IDR-Paraná)

  • Ministry of Justice promotes unprecedented auction of seized pesticides305 boxes will be auctioned, containing 4 gallons of 5 L each of product used for seed treatment. The raised funds from sale will be transferred to the National Anti-Drug Fund. (Justice ministry)
  • Russia will increase fertilizer export quotas to Brazil. Additional 700 thousand tonnes will be exported, being 231 thousand extra tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers and 466 thousand of complex fertilizers. (Ministry of Agriculture)
