The AGRO RURAL program, in Peru, distributed more than 20 thousand tonnes of island guano (organic fertilizer) in 2025, benefiting over 37 thousand farming families and fertilizing 55 thousand hectares. Panama’s National Seed Committee (CNS), under the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), certified 219 thousand quintals of rice seeds between November 2024 and October 2025enough to cover 70 thousand hectares and generate an estimated US$ 18 million in revenue. Beyond rice, the agency supervised seed production for beans and corn and registered new commercial varieties of potatoes, corn and tomatoes, ensuring genetic identity and quality for farmers.
