MAPA Extends Deadlines and Revises Rollout of SISPA Pesticide Registration System in Brazil

MAPA has extended deadlines and revised the implementation schedule for the Unified System for Information, Petition and Electronic Evaluation – SISPA.

SDA/MAPA Ordinance No. 1,676, published on August 24th, extended from 90 to 180 days the deadline for entering component registrations, including brand names. The new schedule also establishes a 150-day period, starting on August 24th, 2026, for the migration of technical products with complete dossiers and equivalent technical products (ETP).

SDA/MAPA Ordinance No. 1,676, of August 21ˢᵗ, 2026

Amends Annex I of SDA/MAPA Ordinance No. 1,631, of May 26th, 2026.

THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURAL DEFENSE OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK, in exercise of the powers granted to him under Articles 23 and 48 of Annex I to Decree No. 12,642, of October 1st, 2025, and considering the provisions of Law No. 14,785, of December 27th, 2023, and the contents of Proceeding No. 21000.023024/2025-73, hereby resolves:

Art. 1. The Annex to SDA/MAPA Ordinance No. 1,631, of May 26th, 2026, shall henceforth read as set forth in the Annex to this Ordinance.

Art. 2. This Ordinance shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
