Researcher Caio Eduardo da Costa Domingues, a M.Sc. student in the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology and Environmental Monitoring at the Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos in Sorocaba, has identified that bees of the Bombus genus \u2013 popularly known as bumblebees \u2013 are capable of \u201ccompensating\u201d for the effects of certain pesticides,\u00a0\u201cmasking\u201d\u00a0the impacts of these products depending on the concentration and exposure time.
