AgriBrasilis – Como \u00e9 realizado o monitoramento agrometeorol\u00f3gico da cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar?<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00e1bio Marin –<\/strong> O monitoramento agrometeorol\u00f3gico \u00e9 realizado atrav\u00e9s de dados de esta\u00e7\u00f5es meteorol\u00f3gicas e de sat\u00e9lites, que coletam as informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre as vari\u00e1veis meteorol\u00f3gicas (temperatura, umidade do ar, vento, radia\u00e7\u00e3o solar e chuva, principalmente).<\/p>\n

A partir da coleta, os dados s\u00e3o processados em modelos de crescimento de plantas, que s\u00e3o programas de computador altamente sofisticados, capazes de prever o desempenho de uma cultura agr\u00edcola a partir dos dados meteorol\u00f3gicos, e que permitem aos produtores tomarem decis\u00f5es antecipadas sobre o que ocorrer\u00e1 com a produtividade da cultura antes mesmo da colheita, al\u00e9m de a\u00e7\u00f5es de manejo como o controle de doen\u00e7as que s\u00e3o favorecidas pelo clima.<\/p>\n

A assertividade dos modelos \u00e9 atualmente muito boa e permite antecipar a produtividade das lavouras e canaviais com grande anteced\u00eancia.<\/p>\n

AgriBrasilis – Quais os impactos do clima nas \u00faltimas safras? O que esperar para a pr\u00f3xima safra?<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00e1bio Marin –<\/strong> Tivemos duas safras bastante complicadas (2020 e 2021) e uma de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o (2022) nas quais as condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas ficaram abaixo da m\u00e9dia hist\u00f3rica. Em 2022, contudo, houve recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de aproximadamente 7% na produtividade em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2021, ainda que essa n\u00e3o possa ser considerada uma safra com padr\u00e3o clim\u00e1tico totalmente adequado para a cultura da cana.<\/p>\n

AgriBrasilis – O que \u00e9 o sistema TempoCampo? Como \u00e9 calculado o Coeficiente de Produtividade Clim\u00e1tica?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00e1bio Marin \u2013<\/strong> O sistema TempoCampo \u00e9 um projeto de extens\u00e3o universit\u00e1ria da ESALQ\/USP que atende aos produtores de cana, milho e soja de todo o Brasil, explicando de forma detalhada como o clima impacta as culturas e que medidas podem ser tomadas para minimizar as perdas e maximizar os ganhos produtivos.<\/p>\n

O coeficiente de produtividade clim\u00e1tica (CPC) \u00e9 um indicador num\u00e9rico que informa sobre a influ\u00eancia do clima na cultura em an\u00e1lise; com ele n\u00e3o dizemos mais que o clima foi bom ou ruim, mas informamos quantos pontos percentuais ganhamos ou perdemos de produtividade. Com o CPC, vem ocorrendo uma revolu\u00e7\u00e3o na gest\u00e3o das propriedades agr\u00edcolas: o clima n\u00e3o pode mais ser usado como justificativa nos casos de quedas de produtividade e as tecnologias agr\u00edcolas utilizadas no campo tamb\u00e9m precisam se provar eficientes, independente das condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n

AgriBrasilis – O Brasil n\u00e3o possui esta\u00e7\u00f5es meteorol\u00f3gicas suficientes para atender a demanda. Quais s\u00e3o as consequ\u00eancias? O que deve ser feito para resolver esse problema?<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00e1bio Marin –<\/strong> A rede p\u00fablica de esta\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 ainda pequena e os produtores tem buscado solucionar essa limita\u00e7\u00e3o contratando empresas que oferecem esta\u00e7\u00f5es de baixo custo para instalar nas propriedades.
